LOGISTIC LEADERS NETWORK GALA AWARDS DINNER – TUESDAY 24 OCTOBER 2023
The Logistic Leaders Network (LLN) Gala Awards Dinner was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon, on Tuesday 24 October 2023. The Logistics Leadership Awards have been created to recognize the massive shift in importance of status of Logistics Leaders and, supply chain understanding and expertise in forward thinking businesses.
One of the category Awards is for Military Logistician of the Year and is presented in memory of Lt Col Paul Holder who was the first active member of the armed forces to be Master of the Worshipful Company of Carmen, the City of London Livery Company for the transport industry. The Military Logistician of the Year Award is presented to the team or person who has demonstrated outstanding leadership within the military logistics community.
Five citations went forward to the LLN judging panel for their consideration. Competition was fierce and after much deliberation by the LLN judging panel the eventual winners were 7 Regiment RLC for their enduring support to military operations. A bottle of champagne was also presented to the Defence Supply Chain Operations and Movement (DSCOM) who were highly commended by the LLN judging panel. We congratulate 7 Regiment RLC on their selection as Military Logistic Award Winners for 2023 and to DSCOM for their commitment to global logistic support.
